Each home is unique and presents it's own challenges. For this
reason, it is difficult to give a price that fits all scenarios.
However, we can list the factors that
will contribute to the job cost:
- Materials - The size of molding and type of wood.
- Molding Finish - Our standard finish is Benjamin Moore
Designer White. Custom colors, special glazing, stain, and
polyurethane are available. We discount for those
that would like to finish the molding themselves'.
- Working Height - Heights above 9 feet add to job time
since additional equipment has to be set up and used to access the
working area; an example would be scaffolding.
- Number of Corners/Cuts - Typically, you would think of a
room having 4 corners but in many homes today that is no longer the
case. An example would be a kitchen that opens up to
a vaulted eating area and family room. That kitchen may only
have one corner set in the back. Another example would be the
picture above, notice how it has six corners since it incorporates
an angled wall. We believe that you should only pay for what
your room requires.
- The Homes' Structural Condition - Today's
moldings are designed to be installed on straight walls. Installing
on wavy walls takes additional time.
Based on these factors, you are ensured fair pricing
for your application.
